### Huila

Southern department known for bright, juicy coffees with pronounced acidity. Huila coffees typically feature red fruit notes, caramel sweetness, and vibrant citrus brightness. The region consistently produces many of Colombia's competition-winning coffees.

### Nariño

Southwestern department with extreme growing conditions and exceptional coffees. Nariño coffees are known for their intense sweetness, citrus brightness, and tropical fruit notes. The extreme diurnal temperature shifts contribute to their unique qualities.

### Quindío

Colombia's smallest department within the Coffee Triangle. Quindío coffees often present balanced acidity, medium body, and pleasant apple-like sweetness. The region is a center of coffee tourism with its picturesque landscapes.

### Cauca

Southwestern region producing coffees with bright acidity and fruit notes. Cauca coffees often feature apple-like acidity, berry sweetness, and balanced chocolate characteristics. The region includes many indigenous producers with traditional farming methods.

### San Agustín

San Agustín is a renowned coffee-growing municipality in Colombia's southern Huila department, situated in the Andes near the headwaters of the Magdalena River, with farms cultivating 100% Arabica varieties such as Castillo and Caturra at altitudes of 1,500–1,900 metres above sea level. The region benefits from a subtropical highland climate with a stable mean temperature of around 18°C, frequent rainfall, and natural shade from banana and tropical trees, creating ideal conditions for slow cherry maturation. Coffees from San Agustín are typically fully washed and sun-dried, yielding a smooth, balanced cup with bright citrus acidity and characteristic notes of orange, caramel, and milk chocolate.

### Antioquia

### Risaralda

Third department in Colombia's Coffee Triangle. Risaralda coffees typically display balanced profiles with mild citrus acidity and chocolate notes. The region maintains traditional coffee cultivation alongside modern techniques.
