### Guji

  4 coffees  

Emerging region adjacent to Sidamo known for distinctive fruit-forward profiles. Guji coffees often feature intense berry sweetness, tropical fruit notes, and floral undertones. The region has gained acclaim for both washed and natural processed coffees.

### Gedeb

  3 coffees  

Gedeb is located in the southern part of the Gedeo Zone in southwestern Ethiopia. It is also considered part of the Yirgacheffe coffee region.

### Limmu

Western region producing well-balanced, sweet coffees. Limmu coffees typically offer medium body, rounded acidity, and notes of stone fruits and chocolate. The area maintains much of Ethiopia's traditional coffee growing methods.

### Jimma

### Sidamo

### Yirgacheffe

  1 coffee  

Renowned sub-region of Sidamo producing exceptional, floral coffees. Yirgacheffe coffees are prized for their jasmine-like floral aromatics, bright citrus acidity, and bergamot notes. Some of Ethiopia's most distinctive and sought-after coffees come from this area.

### Agaro

Western region within Jimma Zone known for clean, bright coffees. Agaro coffees typically feature floral aromatics, citrus acidity, and honey-like sweetness. The area has seen significant quality improvements through cooperative organization.

### Bench Maji

Southwestern region bordering South Sudan with heirloom varieties. Bench Maji coffees typically feature complex floral aromatics, delicate body, and distinctive spice notes. The region includes the Gori Gesha forest, origin of the famous Gesha variety.

### Harrar

Eastern region famous for natural processed coffees. Harrar coffees are known for their intense berry notes, wine-like characteristics, and full body. Traditional dry processing methods contribute to their distinctive blueberry-like flavors.

### Kaffa

Southwestern region with the historical birthplace of coffee. Kaffa coffees often offer balanced profiles with mild citrus acidity and chocolate sweetness. The area maintains much of its original forest cover, supporting natural biodiversity.

### Oromia

Oromia is Ethiopia's largest coffee-producing region, known for high-altitude arabica cultivation between 1,500-2,200 meters that produces complex, fruity coffees with floral and berry notes. The region's diverse microclimates and volcanic soils create ideal conditions for specialty coffee production, with areas like Yirgacheffe, Sidamo, and Guji gaining international recognition. Oromia's coffee is characterized by bright acidity, medium body, and distinctive flavor profiles ranging from citrus and stone fruit to jasmine and spice, making it a cornerstone of Ethiopia's coffee heritage.
