Port of Mokha
Port of Mokha is a Yemeni specialty coffee export company founded by Mokhtar Alkhanshali in the mid-2010s to revive Yemen's nearly lost art of coffee cultivation. Mokhtar's improbable journey — including escaping Yemen by fishing boat with two suitcases of coffee — was chronicled in Dave Eggers' New York Times bestseller The Monk of Mokha. Port of Mokha coffee scored 90+ in blind cuppings, beating world-renowned farms.
