Ruby Coffee Roasters is a Nelsonville, Wisconsin specialty roaster founded in fall 2013 by Jared and Deanna Linzmeier, with first batches roasted from a rural Portage County garage in early 2014. Jared brought experience from Intelligentsia Los Angeles and Caffe Ladro Seattle. Ruby's 4,000+ sq ft Nelsonville warehouse and full café/kitchen (opened May 2019) sit near the Tomorrow River.
