Volcanica Coffee is a privately-owned specialty coffee roaster founded in 2004 by Costa Rican-born Maurice Contreras, who started by importing volcanic-region beans out of his garage. Headquartered in Suwanee in greater Atlanta, Volcanica imports 150+ exotic coffees from volcanic regions worldwide and fresh-roasts to order at its Atlanta facility, family-run with no outside investors.
