Co-founder Matthew is a certified Q-Arabica Grader and placed 4th at the 2025 U.S. Roasting Championships, while Seidy placed 7th at the 2025 U.S. Barista Championship. Kafiex was named Roast Magazine's 2026 Micro Roaster of the Year, recognized for their commitment to quality, sustainability, small-batch roasting, and community engagement.
