Recluse Roasting Project
Recluse Roasting Project is a small-batch specialty coffee roaster founded in 2018 by Aimee Biggerstaff and Jack Fleming in Richmond, Virginia's Scott's Addition neighborhood. The duo, veterans of Olympia Coffee Roasters, focus on direct and ethical sourcing, roasting once a week to highlight the natural sweetness and unique terroir of each coffee. Their nature-inspired brand philosophy treats coffee as a meditative, reclusive experience, and their distinctive compostable bags have become a hallmark of their identity.
